Hela founded Brain Reconnection, Inc in 2012 while she was still training in MNRI ( Masgotuva Method of Reflex Integration ) therapy and while working as a Nutritional Consultant. She knew while working with children that her highest calling was actually to make a significant positive impact on children’s lives.
In 2021 Hela was searching for more tools to help her clients get to the next level , she added Developmental Functional Neurology Certification with Dr Robert Mellilo to her practice, and immersed herself in Dr Mellilo advance courses for Anatomy of the brain with an emphasis on the role and function of each hemisphere this new tool that was focused on Hemispheric Integration and functional disconnect syndrome was an other cutting edge therapy that gave her the ability to take her clients further in recovery.
As the Founder and CEO of Brain Reconnection, she uses her gifts in MNRI therapy, Energy, Cranial work and Holistic Clinical Nutrition, Hemispheric Integration, cold laser therapy and digital therapeutics to build a strong Brain-Body connection for her clients.
Hela worked very closely with Dr. Svetlana Masgutova and has participated in more than 100 assessments assisting Masgutova. More info on Hela’s training, classes, and clinical hours are listed below.
Hela’s journey with healing started with her own daughter with ASD. Years of research and countless hours, Hela trained herself in developmental therapy, movement therapies, and so much more. She didn’t take NO for an answer and dedicated most of her daughter’s younger life trying method after method to bring her to optimal brain function. She helped her move from a lost child to a very organized and gifted dancer and pianist.
Working and healing her daughter opened up so many life changing experiences for her as she connected with the body and really felt the energy and the healing that goes in it. She also learned when to use the correct method and activating the right muscle group and the brain pathways needed to bring homeostasis.
The most important feature in her work is that she connects with her client: she definitely uses the correct manipulation but her presence with the body and the way she delivers the work is her gift.
She brings compassion, stillness, mindfulness, calm, connection, love, courage, and motivation through her work. She believes that every child has their innate potential and gift to bring to the world.
Hela helps unfold that for you or your child.
Hela is also going through fitness training to add one more element to her practice. As MNRI brings more balance and muscle tone strength to her high functioning clients, she decided to expand her practice by creating exercises that will work on core strength, coordination and overall healthier bodies.

Meet Olivia! Olivia was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. She was a competitive gymnast and cheerleader throughout her youth which landed her a scholarship on the Acrobatics and Tumbling team at the University of Oregon. In June of 2021 she finished her successful career as a collegiate athlete and graduated with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Human Physiology in which she was able to learn extensive anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and kinesiology. Her studies and her background in athletics led her to become a Certified Personal Trainer through the International Sports Science Association in late 2020. Throughout her senior year she was able to work as a Physical Therapy Aide, under a pilates based physical therapist which was an extremely unique learning experience.
Olivia’s experience working with children began at a young age. Her first job was as a gymnastics coach at her childhood gym. She loved being able to teach and share her love for the sport to young children in the community as well as help shape them into physically and mentally strong, caring, and driven humans. Throughout the years she has spent time coaching gymnastics, competitive cheerleading, as well as acrobatics and tumbling. Having worked with both adults and children by the time she finished her degree, she was very drawn to Brain Reconnection as the clinic and its mission to help young children and the way that Hela approaches this really resonated with her.
She originally planned on entering the traditional medical field in the future, but working at Brain Reconnection opened her eyes to the beautiful and effective field of holistic and functional neurology, which she felt drawn to expand her knowledge in. She now attends the Southern California University of Health Sciences Doctor of Chiropractic program. She decided to pursue Chiropractic to be able to help children and families access their body and nervous systems innate ability to heal and thrive naturally!
Meet Roya! She has been an athlete her entire life. Taking care of the body and mind are key components that she sees true value in.
She chose to get her education in the biomechanics of the body while playing basketball in San Diego.
After earning her Bachelors in Kinesiology at Point Loma Nazarene University, she decided to continue her basketball career as a professional athlete. She played in England and continued to travel parts of the world. She decided to come back to the states and carry on her passion by teaching the sport that she loves. She worked for the Mamba Sports Academy and coached alongside Kobe Bryant to help develop the younger generation for women’s basketball.
Aside from her passion for basketball, she has a physical therapy background as well. She enjoyed being a part of the rehabilitation process and seeing the growth of individuals.
A few of her favorite hobbies include going to the beach, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her mini Aussie.
She is so excited to be here at Brain Reconnection to continue her love for helping kids grow and achieve their highest potential.
